We have a WhatsApp group open to anyone interested in Oaxaca events: locals, foreigners, travelers, and organizers. Events and workshops only — no sales, rentals, or marketing.
We use the "Share on WhatsApp" buttons on each event page to spread the word in one tap. Always include the link to your event so members can check all the details here directly.
Post your event for free
Submit your event at queondaoaxaca.com/en/submit. Free, no complicated sign-up. Your event appears on the main calendar visible to locals and visitors.
Important tip: fill in the "Tickets / more info" field with your social media link — when we send our followers to your event, they can follow you directly from the event page.
Instagram & Facebook
We pick events from the calendar to share on our Instagram @queondaoaxaca and our Facebook page in an intentional rotation — not always the same events. We want to amplify both established venues and emerging ones, because every organizer deserves visibility.
When we share your event, we always include the link to its page here so people get the full info and can follow you directly.

Tag @queondaoaxaca clearly in your Instagram stories. That makes it easy for us to find your content and repost it to our audience.
Also include the link to your event posted here in the story — that way we redirect our followers straight to your event page.
Qué Onda Oaxaca is a free project built to work in every corner of Oaxaca — not just the city center. We are still figuring out how to sustain it without putting pressure on users or organizers.
What we do know is that sharing helps enormously: using the site, tagging us, posting events, or telling a fellow organizer is a direct act of collaboration that keeps this alive and growing.
