Qué Onda Oaxaca es una guía local e independiente para descubrir qué hacer en Oaxaca: eventos culturales, conciertos, exposiciones, cine, fiestas, ferias, mezcal y todo ese movimiento que mantiene viva la agenda de la ciudad y sus alrededores.

El proyecto nace de un trabajo previo de organización cultural y comunitaria. Antes de existir como sitio, Dary organizó intercambios de idiomas, un cineclub y distintos espacios de encuentro, además de mantener grupos de difusión en WhatsApp donde se compartían eventos y actividades locales.

Con el tiempo, la información creció y se volvió difícil de seguir solo desde chats o redes sociales. De ahí surge la idea de crear un lugar donde todo eso se pudiera ordenar, archivar y consultar fácilmente, sin que se pierda entre historias o publicaciones efímeras.

Es un proyecto independiente, iniciado por Dary, pero no se construye en solitario. Se forma con la participación de la comunidad: personas que comparten eventos, recomiendan espacios, envían correcciones y usan la plataforma. En ese sentido, Qué Onda Oaxaca se construye entre todos.

Mantener el sitio en línea implica costos reales como servidores, herramientas y tiempo de desarrollo. Si el proyecto te sirve y quieres apoyar para que siga creciendo y mejorando, cualquier aportación ayuda directamente a que esto continúe.

The project grew out of previous community-based cultural work. Before becoming a website, Dary organized language exchange meetups, a small film club, and managed WhatsApp groups where local events and activities were shared.

As the information grew, it became harder to keep track of everything through chats or social media alone. This site was created to organize and preserve that information in one place, making it easier for both locals and visitors to discover what’s happening.

This is an independent project, started by Dary, but shaped by the community. It grows through people who submit events, share the site, and help keep the information accurate and alive.
